Careers in the Community

Deborah Siswick, Co-Director of Matchpoint Recruitment Ltd was awarded some funding from UnLtd and the Social Enterprise Development Fund to launch Careers in the Community, a social enterprise which recruits staff for the Third Sector. Through Deborah’s extensive experience of working in the Voluntary and Community sector she realised that there was a constant movement of people, due to the nature of limited funding for many of these organisations. Careers in the Community recruits staff for the sector at a vastly subsidised rate, as well as provide a vehicle for employees to search for alternative employment once their contracts come to an end.
