Matchpoint UK Ltd CV Writing service terms of use

Please read this information carefully as using the service constitutes acceptance and understanding of the CV writing service.

1.The CV writing service provided by Matchpoint UK Ltd is available to assist candidates in good faith who recognise that their CV and the way it is presented can be enhanced in terms of its presentation for the purpose of seeking new employment. The service and CV produced by no means guarantees the candidate will secure new employment or gain an advantage over any other candidates for any other role. By using the service candidates accept this clause and accept full responsibility for using the service.

2.The nominal fee paid to Matchpoint UK Ltd is to cover administration and is non-refundable and includes VAT at a rate of 17.5%

3.The CV writing service and advice given about on going maintenance and CV updates is an advisory service only and Matchpoint UK Ltd will not accept any liability or responsibility for any claims arising from subsequent use of the new CV produced by the candidate. Using this service constitutes acceptance of this.

4.Matchpoint UK Ltd takes data protection very seriously and will do all is reasonably possible to protect data integrity. That said the candidate accepts by using this service all responsibility for their personal data and for its submission to Matchpoint.

5.Matchpoint UK Ltd assumes upon receipt of the candidate data that all facts and information are true and accurate to the best of their knowledge. Matchpoint UK Ltd accepts no liability for any claims arising from the candidate providing inaccurate information.

6.Upon the receipt of the new CV the candidate accepts full responsibility for use of it and where is submitted. Any subsequent changes, alterations and additions are the complete responsibility of the candidate. Whether to accept our advice and whether or not to act on it is sole responsibility of the candidate.

7.The candidate agrees that the information you provide to us when you use the Site will be true and complete and that you will keep it true and complete at all times. Furthermore you are solely responsible for any information submitted by you to this site. The candidate is responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you is accurate, up to date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights or any person in any jurisdiction. You are also responsible for ensuring that all information, data and files are free of viruses or other routines or engines that may damage or interfere with any system or data prior to being submitted to this site. We reserve the right to remove any information supplied by you from the web site at our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason without being required to give any explanation.

8.Matchpoint UK Ltdaccepts no liability for any loss or damages of any kind arising from the use of this site(whether direct or indirect, for loss of business, revenue or profits, wasted expenditure, unsuccessful job applications or interviews, corruption or destruction of data, files, documents or for any other indirect or consequential loss whatsoever) arising from your use of the site and we hereby exclude any such liability, whether in contract, tort (including for negligence) or otherwise. We hereby exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to this web site and your use of it to the maximum extent permitted by law. Furthermore, all advice provided through this site by our CV / Resume service is given in good faith and is provided 'as is'. We accept no responsibility if you should suffer loss or damage as a result of taking, or following our advice. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

9.While creating a new CV Matchpoint UKLtd will endeavour to retain the original wording and content. However, occasionally in the interests of grammatical accuracy or the need to correct the way a fact is presented for ease of reading the candidate grants permission on submission of their details for Matchpoint Recruitment Ltd to make changes as is deemed necessary to enhance the presentation and style of the CV.

This does not affect your statutory rights and all is governed by English Law.
